EU funds increasingly favour multi-partner consortia. As a third party — NGO, university, cultural institution, foundation, or public body — you can join UC in applying for a subsidy. Both parties get funded.

How It Works

4-Step Joint Application Process

Choose a Project

Browse the 74-project Status Board. Pick one that fits your sector, geography, and capacity.

Submit form with your org details, role offered, and project ID. UC responds within 5 working days.

Sign MoU + Consortium

UC sends consortium agreement, work-package allocation, budget split. Sign digitally.

Submit + Share Award

UC drafts proposal, you review. Joint submission via EU Login. If awarded, each member receives their budget.

Registered cultural NGO, charitable foundation, or stichting in EU, MENA, or partner country.

ACADEMIC

Universities & Research Institutes

Especially relevant for Programma 7 Cultural Research and Horizon Europe Cluster 2 calls.

PUBLIC BODY

Public Bodies & Municipalities

City councils, regional cultural offices, national cultural ministries.

CORPORATE

Corporate Cultural Programmes

Corporate foundations (Bosch, Mellon, Compagnia San Paolo, Open Society).

UN / IGO

UN Agencies & IGOs

UNESCO, Council of Europe, OECD cultural offices.

INDIVIDUAL

Recognised Individuals

Senior cultural figures, MSCA / ERC fellows, named experts.

MoU & Consortium Template

Before a joint application is submitted, UC and the partner organisation sign a Memorandum of Understanding defining:

Roles and responsibilities of each partner
Budget split and disbursement schedule
Intellectual property and reporting obligations
Termination and dispute resolution clauses
Governing law (Netherlands, EU jurisdiction)

UC provides a standard MoU template editable per project. Partners may request bespoke clauses where required by their internal governance.
